Twelve Days of Charities

We want to give back to our community so we are posting 12 local Charities this month. Please consider giving to one or some of them!

They are having trouble accommodating all the people that are in need. To date they have turned away over 700 people.

They are looking for the following donations:

They are always in need of gently used items. These items are crucial to serving their guests. Here is a list of needed items:

• New Women’s Long Underwear
• Sweat Shirts (Men & Women) Size 2XX, 3XX, 4XX, 5XX
• Work Boots
• Back Packs & Duffel Bags
• Bottled Water
• Disposable Diapers – all sizes
• New Women’s Underwear
• New Men’s Underwear
• T-shirts
• Soap & Body Wash
• Bathroom Tissue
• Paper Towel
• Kleenex
• Laundry Detergent
• Infant Teething Rings & Rattles
• Infant T-Shirts
• Men’s Razors
• Shaving Cream
• Body Lotion
• Towels

In light of their new facility, they are in high need for gently used office furniture and computer equipment including

• Bookshelves
• Couches
• Desks
• Chairs
• L-shaped desks
• Classroom/Seminar tables
• Bulletin Boards
• Whiteboards
• Entertainment Center
• Utility tables
• Banquet Stack Chair
• Computers
• Printers

They also accept monetary donations via their website.

In this time of year it is easy to forget that there are individuals who are less fortunate than we are. Please give in any way you can. It makes you feel like a million bucks!

It also falls in line with our motto- reduce, reuse and recycle- everything you donate is getting used AGAIN and not just going to the landfill!!
