Snazzy Diaper Covers Bring Back the Style!
Most people think of plastic or vinyl pants when they think of cloth diapers but it is not the case anymore. Both cloth diapers and cloth diaper covers have come a long way.
When using a diaper service you would want to have minimum 4-6 covers for a modest amount and upwards of 6-12 for a generous amount. Covers are reused until they are soiled or begin to stink. So what most families do is buy a moderate amount before baby is born and then have money set aside for more if they are needed. That way you aren’t wasting money.
What we personally did was buy some “operational” covers such as Bummis or Swaddlebees and then supplemented with the more expensive covers. Bummis covers run around $11.50-12.50 depending on which one and Swaddlebees are $15.95. Blueberry has a one size cover that is PUL (Laminated polyester) that is $18.95 and comes in solids and prints and they offer Minky covers like the one picture which runs at $21.97.
So you can use a variety of covers to save money but still keep that great style. The various brands come in solids and prints and in various fabrics.
